The Argüelles neighborhood was born during the Ensanche period and is a magnificent example of bourgeois Madrid. Bounded by the Parque de Debod and Calle Princesa, it extends in a narrow strip from the Plaza de España towards the Parque del Oeste, bordered by the streets of Pintor Rosales, Irún, Paseo Moret, Ferraz, Princesa, Plaza de España, and Cuesta de San Vicente.
