Moledo do Minho is a small village in the North of Portugal, which belongs to the Municipality of Caminha, well known for its beach set in a dreamlike setting. Moledo is approximately one hour from Porto and 20 minutes from Viana do Castelo. In an area of great natural beauty, surrounded by the Mata do Camarido, this is a slightly windy beach, bathed by strong swells, with good conditions for surfing and windsurfing during the summer. In front of Praia de Moledo, on the small rocky island that can be accessed by boat, the Forte da Ínsua stands out, built in the 15th century to make room for a convent, and in the 17th and 18th centuries it was transformed in a coastal defense bastion.
