The city of Verbania is the most populous center on Lake Maggiore, formed by the union of Intra, Pallanza, and other small municipalities. Intra is the historical center of the town, and a walk through its beautiful pedestrian center, filled with shops and bars perfect for a summer aperitif or enjoying a good hot chocolate in winter, is highly recommended.
