Pozuelo de Alarcón is the wealthiest municipality in the Community of Madrid and one of the most sought-after places to live near the capital.
It has excellent transport links to the city centre and surrounding areas via the M-30, M-40, M-503 and A-6 motorways. Pozuelo and El Barrial stations are part of the C-7 and C-10 lines of the Madrid commuter rail network. The bus lines are: 560, 561, 561A, 561B, 562, 563, 564, 566, 650, 656, 656A, 657, 658, 815 and the night buses N901, N902, N905 and N906. Lines A and H connect to the Complutense University campus, linking the municipality with both the capital and the adjacent urban centres. The Pozuelo de Alarcón Town Council is currently building a network of cycle lanes.
The Pozuelo Estación area is also a favorite with families, as it has a multitude of prestigious educational centres nearby, leading shopping centres, hospitals and all the necessary services.
