Digital real estate consulting

Around the world, the second wave of the coronavirus is once again presenting the economy with particular challenges; the real estate industry is no exception. However, owners who are considering selling their property can feel reassured: thanks to digital solutions, Engel & Völkers can continue to advise you safely, transparently, and as comprehensively as you have come to expect from us for more than 40 years, even in times of crisis. Below, we will show you how we remain at your disposal through digital valuation and virtual consultation.

Initial consultation with no obligation

If, due to the current situation, you are unable or do not wish to visit one of our physical offices, we will of course be available to assist you by telephone, email, or through Google Meet. Google Meet in particular, thanks to its video function, is a great way to meet your real estate consultant in person. Just as with a visit to one of our offices, we will analyze your sales goals and your wishes regarding the sale of your home together – the only difference is that you can do all of this safely from your home.

Advantages for you:

  • Maximum safety with excellent and uninterrupted service

  • No need to install any application; all that is required is a laptop or PC with internet access

  • Our real estate consultants can share their screen with you, for example, during presentations

Digital property valuation and presentation

Once you have decided to sell your property through Engel & Völkers, it is time for the valuation of your property, during which your real estate consultant carries out the valuation of the house or apartment. For a digital valuation, simply contact us by email, telephone, or visit one of our offices and inform us that you would like your property to be appraised. During this consultation session, we already clarify the first relevant details about the property, such as the location, year of construction, or condition of the building.

Following this, photographs of the property are arranged, for which you send us illustrative photos of the property and its surroundings. Alternatively, you may guide our real estate agent through your property via FaceTime so that they can gain a more detailed impression of it. Based on the data provided and the available comparable properties, the real estate consultant prepares a complete valuation of your property and, in a second digital appointment, informs you of the recommended sale price for its marketing.

The actual evaluation, in which the real estate consultant inspects your property in order to determine an asking price, may also optionally be carried out in person, naturally in compliance with strict hygiene regulations such as minimum distancing and the use of a face mask.

Subsequently, the so-called property presentation is carried out digitally once again: your real estate consultant will use Google Meet to explain in detail and with full transparency the current value of your property in the real estate market. Of course, you may still adjust the asking price as you wish.

You can also manage the subsequent buying and selling steps with us largely digitally. This includes, for example, the virtual viewing of your property by potential buyers. Thanks to our digital services, we can continue to be at your disposal in times of crisis.
