Cosy cottage in Val D'Orcia

Along the scenic road that leads from Radicofani to San Casciano dei Bagni, at the end of a white road of a few hundred meters, you arrive at this very pretty farmhouse with all the features you could wish for from a small property in Tuscany: a stone cottage with a courtyard adorned with flowers, some olive trees, a swimming pool, a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and the typical clays of the Val d'Orcia, and entirely fenced. As in any typical country house, you enter both from the ground floor and from an external brick staircase that leads directly to the upper floor. On the ground floor we have the living area with the fireplace, "cotto toscano" tiles floor, walls with beautiful exposed bricks and the classic wooden beams of the celling. Through the thick load-bearing wall you enter the dining room and the small kitchen, all covered with Vietri ceramic small tiles. An external access connects this part of the house to another corner of the garden, which makes it very functional for outdoor breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The all first floor is completed by a space used as an office and a courtesy bathroom. On the second floor we have the sleeping area, with a bedroom with a comfortable walk-in closet and access to the bathroom, which can also be entered from the corridor. The other half of the floor, where the external staircase leads directly to the garden from the pool side, is currently used as a recreation room with a television, a sofa and an antique work table, but in which one could obtain a large bedroom, with a separate dressing room. The windows, on all sides and all the rooms, overlook the surrounding countryside.
