Description
In one of the quietest and most charming areas of Favignana, along the road leading to the beautiful Cala Rossa and only a 10-minute walk from the town center, a pre-1967 detached villa set in greenery and surrounded by the island’s typical atmosphere.
The main property, approximately 98 sq m, is arranged over multiple levels and offers bright, well-laid-out rooms: a large living room that can easily be divided, a separate kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home also includes a spacious attic and a roof terrace, reachable via a spiral staircase, from which there is a splendid panoramic view of the island of Levanzo. The large veranda is ideal for fully enjoying the outdoor spaces
The property also includes an independent annex of approximately 45 sq m with kitchenette, bathroom.
The property has a large plot of land once used as a vineyard, where there is a distinctive grotto carved into the tuff.
Thanks to its double access, both from a paved road and from a secondary road, and its secluded yet convenient location close to the main services and the island’s most beautiful beaches, this property—although requiring significant renovation—represents a unique opportunity to create a prestigious private residence, a charming holiday home, or a valuable tourism investment in the heart of the Aegadian Islands.

Location: Favignana, Sicily
La largest and liveliest of the Aegadian Islands archipelago, Favignana is only 9 miles from Trapani. The island offers both beaches and caves: from the fine sandy beaches of Cala Azzurra, Lido Burrone and Calamoni to the pebble coves of Punta Lunga, Punta Sottile and Faraglioni. The rockier areas, instead, include Cala Rossa, Grotta Perciata and Punta Fanfalo. The waters around the entire island are clear, transparent and unspoiled, making a scuba dive as well as a simple swim a unique experience. Favignana was also home to one of Sicily’s most important tuna fisheries, now used as a museum, the so-called former Florio Plant. Alongside it are Palazzo Florio, the churches, the Norman castles of Santa Caterina and San Giacomo, as well as the famous archaeological area of San Nicola. True works of art are also the tuff quarries, the most spectacular of which are found in the areas of Scalo Cavallo, Cala Rossa and Bue Marino. The town of Favignana offers the chance to enjoy a completely relaxing holiday, without forgetting to savor the traditional delicacies based on tuna and capers.
