Sezzadio is a characteristic Piedmontese village located in the Alessandria plain, in the heart of Monferrato, about twenty kilometers from Acqui Terme. Surrounded by hills, the village boasts an important history that traces back to Roman and medieval times. One of its most significant jewels is the Abbey of Santa Giustina, founded in the 7th century by Benedictine monks. This religious complex, with its Romanesque church and medieval frescoes, represents a historical and cultural landmark of the area. Also noteworthy are: the Parish Church, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Immaculate, with its spectacular neo-Gothic dome, noticeable even from a great distance; and the Oratory of the Annunziata, with its evocative frescoed facade, located just a few steps from our historic farmhouse. Although it is a quiet village with about a thousand inhabitants, Sezzadio is equipped with all the main services: numerous restaurants, bars and snacks, pharmacies, postal services, and all essential shops. The distance from Milan, Turin, and Genoa is respectively 110, 104, and 84 km.
