Lovely flat at the Biennale

Among the perpendicular and parallel calli that define the urban layout of the sestiere of Castello, we find the independent entrance door to our flat just behind the Arsenale, which is five minutes from the homonymous vaporetto station. As we arrive, we realise how much time seems to take us back to the original Venice, of which the building was part of the complex known as 'degli arsenalotti', i.e. populated by the Arsenal workers. We enter through the main door and rise the independent stairs to the first floor. Here the junction allows us to choose whether to turn right or left. We turn left to go to the living area. The light arrives direct and warm, illuminating the soft colours of the floor. A first door opens on the right: the bright, windowed bathroom is located just above a garden, not belonging to it, but no less pleasing to the eye. We proceed further and find that same view in the granite marble kitchen, airy and light, complete with microwave, oven, refrigerator, washing machine and washer-dryer. The typical wooden furniture recalls the stairs we saw to get to the floor. We return to the pre-entry hall and turn to the right, where the comfortable living room with its library, television and sofa -which converts to a single bed. From here, a door leads us into the large master bedroom, whose wooden elements play with the lighting system, highlighting the waves of the furniture.
