The “Patio” apartment – Contemporary comfort

Castiglione Falletto is one of the villages of the “Barolo Langa”, one of the areas recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. Entering the town of Castiglione Falletto along Via Roma, you reach Piazza del Centro, formerly called “della Balada”, because it hosted the dancing during village festivals. A short uphill stretch leads beneath the imposing fortress. Just a few metres from the square, in a strategic position, the property welcomes its guests. The Castle of Castiglione Falletto, now owned by the Bricco Boschis Winery of the Cavallotto family, was built by Bertoldo Falletti of Alba, who had received the place as a fief from the Marquises of Saluzzo. The Falletti, who owned it until about the end of the 17th century, wished to add their own name to that of the village. Returning to Piazza del Centro and taking the ancient Via del Fossato, you complete the full circuit of Castiglione Falletto’s historic core, looking out over the slopes of the surrounding hills.
