Description

In the village of Vallocchia, a hamlet of Spoleto, for those looking for peace and tranquillity and who like to feel in harmony with nature, we offer this perfect solution: a small, partially renovated house of about 100 square metres on two floors. On the upper floor we find the modernly renovated part of approx. 50 sqm consisting of a living room with fireplace that can also be used for a small but practical kitchen, a bathroom with window, toilet, washbasin and shower and a bedroom with an adjoining room that can be used as a storage room, study or wardrobe. Both the bedroom and the living room/kitchen have access to the balcony with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and wooded area. The property has undergone extensive structural work, as has the roof, which has been insulated and fitted with an exposed timber frame. All the windows have been completely renovated and feature acoustic double glazing. The floors have been modernised, combining old and new. Heating is provided by a pellet stove and there is a municipal water connection. A large outdoor terrace covered with vines offers an oasis of peace and tranquillity in a delightful setting where one can forget everyday worries. It is fair to say that it is a real privilege to enjoy a glass of wine by candlelight and relaxing lounge music on a balmy summer evening. In a word, unique! On the ground floor, the building still boasts an area of about 50 square metres that still needs to be renovated and is currently used as storage space. These are the former stables, of which the old wooden mangers and beamed ceilings are still visible. At the back is a small cool room that could be used as a cosy wine cellar. This part can be creatively and economically finished as additional living space or can serve as a holiday home. This is an opportunity not to be missed, so all that is left to do is to book a site visit and be captivated by the simplicity and unique atmosphere of the village of Vallocchia.
