In the far southeast of Mallorca, about 56 km from Palma, lies Santanyi. The village in the southeast, with its nearly 12,000 inhabitants, is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The Mondrago Natural Park offers two magnificent bays and is located in the immediate vicinity of Santanyi. The Vall d’Or Golf Course, an attractive course with a fantastic view of the sea, is about a 20-minute drive from Santanyi. Various marinas can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Among the most attractive beaches in the vicinity of Santanyi are Cala Lombards, Calo des Moro, Cala S'Almunia, and S'Amarador. A few minutes by car from Santanyi is Cala Santanyi, where the crystal-clear water slopes gently, making the beach perfect for families.
