Felanitx is situated amidst the beautiful, hilly nature in the southeast of Mallorca. The town lies at the foot of Puig de Sant Salvador with the well-known monastery Santuari, founded in 1342, offering a breathtaking view over the island. The town is in the second largest wine-growing region on the island, and vineyards characterize the landscape at almost all town entrances. In the old town, there are many winding alleys that tell of the charm of bygone times. Every Sunday, the market with its many stalls invites you to stroll both in the pedestrian zone and in the idyllic market hall. The impressive Church of San Miguel from the 16th century is located in the center of the town, and the spaciously designed staircase offers a beautiful photo opportunity at any time of the day. The largest natural harbor of Mallorca, Porto Colom - which belongs to Felanitx - is reachable in 10 minutes by car and offers many options for relaxation with its numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes, as well as the romantic bathing bays. The exclusive 18-hole golf course Vall d’Or is also reachable in about 15 minutes by car, and it takes about 35 minutes to get to the airport.
