Gustavo Soares

Gustavo Soares, with a degree in Business Management from Católica Business School, currently leads the implementation and expansion of the German brand ENGEL & VÖLKERS in Porto through personal investment, achieving the number 1 operation position in the national ranking four times.

Dedicated to the brokerage of residential and commercial properties, yachts, and private jets, Engel & Völkers, an internationally prestigious German company, is currently present in about 1000 locations worldwide across four continents.

For the previous 7 years, he served at the highest level with PORTUGAL SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY as Managing Director, where through a profound restructuring, he led the organization to a leadership position in the demanding luxury segment. The company's achieved notoriety allowed it to become an international reference within the exclusive Sotheby's network, turning the national operation into not only a benchmark in terms of organization and culture but also the most profitable operation in the EMEA markets.

In the preceding 6 years, he also served as a Business Consultant in the central structure of ERA PORTUGAL, enabling him to create, restructure, and inspire over 50 real estate brokerage firms. During this period, he led several of these companies to exceptional results, allowing them to join the demanding national Top Ten ranking and even hold the first place for about 6 years. It is also noteworthy that in this role, he led a brokerage firm to surpass the one million Euros annual revenue barrier for the first time.

Since 2007, he has maintained his entrepreneurial activity in parallel.
