Aljezur: Location and surroundings of this property

The Costa Vicentina is a different Algarve, where unspoiled nature has a strong and wild character, resulting in landscapes of dazzling grandeur. This area is part of the natural park that begins to the north in the southwest of the Alentejo and is the largest stretch of the Portuguese coast under protection. There are many beaches, some with extensive sands, some framed by great cliffs of shale and limestone. The sea, agitated, produces a natural symphony, which serves as a soundtrack for this walk by the sea. Here we find little beaches, some almost deserted with little known access to other beaches to discover among the cliffs covered with vegetation, which here and there offer us fabulous panoramas on this steep coast. The beaches often offer good conditions for surfing and bodyboarding. Everywhere, brightly colored flower fields surround the roads that lead to quiet beaches forming expanses of golden sand contrasting with the large black shale cliffs that border them.
