In the bathrooms, finishes include handmade tiles, artisanal carpentry, and limestone details on the washbasins, reinforcing the unique character and connection to local materials. The new spatial organization establishes a strong connection between interior and exterior, enhancing natural light, cross ventilation, and integration with the landscape. Energy- and water-efficiency systems were also incorporated, including solar panels, underfloor heating for heating and cooling, a heat pump for domestic hot water, and a rainwater harvesting system. The house is ready to move into and offers exceptional potential, whether as a rural tourism project, a holiday home, or a permanent residence for those seeking a more autonomous lifestyle in harmony with nature, including solutions geared toward off-grid living.
