Maur is the municipality with the lowest tax rate in our sales region, at 87%. The municipal area of Maur stretches from the western shore of Lake Greifensee to the top of the Pfannenstiel mountain range. The popular municipality borders directly on Lake Greifensee and is characterized by a variety of forests and meadows as well as local recreation areas. The lake with its boat landing stage and the bathing establishments in Maur and Egg are other well-known advantages of this municipality.
Nürensdorf
Nürensdorf follows Maur in second place with a tax rate of 90%. Nürensdorf is located between the large cities of Zurich and Winterthur, but remains a rural residential community with a magnificent view of the beautiful mountains. The municipality consists of four districts: Nürensdorf, Birchwil, Oberwil and Breite. The high quality of living is particularly noteworthy.
Dietlikon
Dietlikon is in third place with a total tax rate of 92%. The municipality with its preserved village charm offers an excellent infrastructure and a wide range of jobs. In this picturesque residential community, you will find everything your heart desires - plenty of green space, far-reaching views and extensive shopping facilities. The municipality also offers sports enthusiasts an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, equestrian center, tennis courts and various outdoor sports fields.
Opfikon
Opfikon is a vibrant suburb and is listed just behind Dietlikon in fourth place with a tax rate of 94%. Opfikon is located just outside the city of Zurich and close to the airport at the gateway to the world, while at the same time retaining its village charm. The municipality enjoys popularity due to its good accessibility, optimal infrastructure and wide range of jobs, also thanks to the airport in and around Opfikon.
Wallisellen
Wallisellen offers all the advantages you could wish for. With a tax rate of 97%, a superb infrastructure and centrality in all directions, various shopping and leisure facilities, Wallisellen is one of the most popular municipalities and comes in fifth place. The very low vacancy rate is easy to justify after all these attractions. The municipality is loved and appreciated by its residents and their satisfaction is palpable.

Wangen-Brüttisellen
Just below Wallisellen is the municipality of Wangen-Brüttisellen, which belongs to the Zürcher Unter- und Oberland. This municipality consists of two different districts: Wangen is more rural and Brüttisellen more suburban. Both therefore have their own identity and special features. The 98% tax rate puts the municipality in sixth place.
Dübendorf
With a total municipal tax rate of 99%, Dübendorf is also one of the municipalities with the lowest tax rates and offers shopping and entertainment facilities and an excellent infrastructure. The public transport connections to Zurich and the rest of the world are particularly noteworthy. Stettbach railroad station is the perfect gateway to the city of Zurich.
Schwerzenbach
With a tax rate of 99%, Schwerzenbach is on a par with Dübendorf. The inhabitants of this municipality benefit from a quiet life in the countryside combined with the advantages of an excellent infrastructure. Characterized by its location on Lake Greifensee and its proximity to the city of Zurich and Kloten Airport, Schwerzenbach meets a wide range of needs. The proximity to the recreational area around Lake Greifensee is a particular feature of this municipality and enhances its attractiveness.
