Campanet is a beautiful inland village with excellent road connections, just 15 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from Palma de Mallorca and the airport. It is a wonderful, authentic village that was inhabited even before the Roman occupation. It also remains largely outside the tourist circuit. Today, it is a residential village of around 2,850 inhabitants, a unique place to experience tradition and an authentic Mediterranean lifestyle. The new motorway is easily accessible, and a bus service runs several times a day to the nearest train station in Inca.
Campanet meets all basic needs, with three supermarkets, a weekly market every Tuesday offering fresh, local produce, and two public car parks. Located between flatlands and mountains, it is simply a charming village. There is much to see while strolling through the narrow streets leading to the large main square, “Plaça Major,” with its imposing Baroque church, dating from the 18th century, as well as numerous restaurants and bars.
Campanet is home to impressive caves featuring many beautiful natural rock formations and underground lakes. On the outskirts of the village stands the 13th-century chapel of “Sant Miquel,” one of the oldest on the island. In the surrounding forests, the spectacular natural springs of “Ufanes” come to life after heavy rainfall.
Property prices here are relatively affordable, meaning you get more for your money, while the properties are equally charming. You will find attractive village houses and country homes for sale and rent.
