Discover this exquisite minimalist finca nestled in the peaceful rural surroundings of María de la Salut, near the charming village of Santa Margalida, where contemporary luxury meets the calm and natural beauty of Mallorca’s heartland.
Designed in 2004 by the renowned Austrian architect Alexander Eduard Serda, a pioneer of minimalist country architecture, this property stands out for its flawless harmony between modern design and the natural landscape — a truly unique finca in Mallorca.
Set on a single level and conceived as an open-plan loft, the residence radiates a sense of spaciousness, light, and serenity throughout. The main area features a large master suite, while two guest bedrooms — each with en-suite bathrooms and independent access — ensure maximum privacy and comfort.
At the heart of the home lies the contemporary wooden kitchen, combining design, warmth, and functionality. It connects seamlessly to the generous living area, which opens directly onto the garden and pool terrace, creating a perfect flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The property is equipped with every modern comfort, including solar panels, central heating, air conditioning, a dehumidification system, automatic blinds, and a fully integrated smart home system, ensuring effortless living all year round.
With its own well and connection to the mains electricity, complemented by solar energy, the finca offers both sustainability and efficiency.
Outside, a Mediterranean garden with native flora surrounds the elegant swimming pool. From the rooftop terrace, panoramic views extend over the Mallorcan countryside — and on clear days, the sea can even be glimpsed in the distance.
A truly exceptional property for those seeking a design retreat in rural Mallorca, where the island’s authenticity blends beautifully with contemporary sophistication.
Maria de la Salut is a small town located in the centre of the island with around 2,100 inhabitants. It has several bars, restaurants, pharmacy, and sports centre, amongst others. There are also several rural hotels. The weekly market is held every Friday, and on the last Sunday of September one can stroll around the popular second-hand market (Es baratillo de’s pla). Like most Pla municipalities, it has a large production of carob, almonds, vegetables, melons, garlic, tomatoes as well as its own wine production. One of its flagship products is the renown sobrasada, as Maria de la Salut has several sausage factories. The city centre of Palma and the airport can be reached within a 50 minute drive, and the beach is only 20 minutes away from the town.
