Dream plot right on the Rhine dike

The city of Meerbusch, with around 57,000 residents, is made up of eight individual communities and is located right on Düsseldorf’s doorstep. Meerbusch is shaped by tranquil rural idyll, the Rhine floodplains, and a blend of village charm with an upscale quality of life. The district of Langst-Kierst, separated from Düsseldorf’s Kaiserswerth district only by the Rhine, is part of the so-called Meerbusch Rhine communities. Right by the Rhine floodplains, surrounded by meadows and fields, this small village of just under 1,100 inhabitants offers a welcome contrast to Düsseldorf’s hectic city center, about 15 minutes away by car. All facilities for daily needs are located in the neighboring town of Lank-Latum. A school bus runs to the primary school, lower secondary school, and grammar school. The international school in Kaiserswerth can also be reached quickly by ferry and bicycle. Northern Meerbusch has excellent access to the motorway network via the A44 and A57. Public transport is well developed: there are regular bus connections to the U76, which links the city centers of Düsseldorf and Krefeld, as well as to Neuss. The Kaiserswerth Rhine ferry offers a pleasant and popular alternative to the Rhine bridges and also saves distance.
