Recently, the Reep - the water between Portus Ganda and the Bisschoppelijk Paleis - has been uncovered and equipped with beautiful quay walls where you can enjoy the sun on one of the many terraces. In the other direction is the new, modernist library complex De Krook, which is a crossroads of culture and small-scale but innovative enterprises. And in the nearby Vlaanderenstraat, too, a wind of renewal and renovation is blowing. The beautiful art nouveau town houses combine living, business and pleasure. Many stylish shops and (star) restaurants here take you in the direction of the Zuid-site with its extensive Ghent "Central Park"; the lungs of the city.
You can go in all directions from here. Two important intersections (Korenmarkt and Zuid) of bus and tram lines are within walking distance of the building. There is an immediate connection to the motorway via the Zuid. There are also plenty of public and private parking facilities in the immediate vicinity. And although this property is located right in the historic city centre, the street and its surroundings are not at all busy.
