Real Estate Engel & Völkers Madrid recruits new staff in Madrid Noroeste

Engel & Völkers, a leading luxury real estate agency that's dedicated to selling and renting residential and commercial properties, launches a new office in the northwest of Madrid, with the aim of meeting the demands of its exclusive clients.

With the addition of this northwest office, the real estate portfolio of the company expands further, covering the entire city of Madrid and some of the surrounding municipalities. The properties in the portfolio can be found in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Aravaca, Boadilla del Monte, Villaviciosa de Odón and Las Rozas.

POZUELO

The municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón is integrated in the metropolitan area of ​​Madrid, same as the other municipalities of Boadilla del Monte, Villaviciosa and Las Rozas. It is located approximately 8 km from Madrid. Furthermore, it is the only municipality, along with the capital city, that's accessible from the M-40 motorway.


The main attraction of Pozuelo lies in the fact that it's one of the most important and prestigious areas of Madrid. It's home to Casa de Campothe in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcón. The complex has 24-hour security and is considered one of the safest in Europe. Next to it, the sports store Reebok can be found. In short, living in Pozuelo is synonymous with higher quality of life, comfort and well-being.

ARAVACA

Aravaca has become one of the most expensive muncipalities in terms of property prices. With regards to per capita income, this area experiences the highest levels out of all the other municipalities in Madrid.

The district of Aravaca is actually an extension of Pozuelo de Alarcon, so the only way to know if you've reached Madrid or Pozuelo is by the signs on the main roads saying: Arroyo de Pozuelo, Osa Mayor, Avenida de Europa and Carretera de Húmera.

Aravaca is very well connected to central Madrid via the motorway, the A-6 Madrid-La Coruña, and the M-500, also known as Carretera de Castilla, which connects the Ciudad Universitaria with the A-6 through Casa de Campo and Club de Campo de Madrid. This district also has a train station.

BOADILLA DEL MONTE

Boadilla del Monte is on the border to the north of Majadahonda, south of Villaviciosa and Alcorcón, and east of Pozuelo de Alarcon. Next to the city centre, the old town of Romanillos and the residential area of Bonanza, Las Lomas, Monte de las Encinas, Montepríncipe, Olivar de Mirabal, Boadilla Park, Pino Centinela, Valdecabañas and Valdepastores are located.

It crosses the municipality of Boadilla del Monte, the M-50 motorway, which runs from north to south dividing the city and the residential areas in two. Other roads that connect the city belong to the network of Madrid Community (Comunidad de Madrid).

In Boadilla del Monte, there are many kindergartens as well as public and private schools

VILLAVICIOSA DE ODON

Villaviciosa de Odón is a Madrid municipality, located west of the capital's metropolitan area. It borders with the municipalities of Boadilla del Monte, Villanueva de la Cañada, Brunete, Sevilla la Nueva, Móstoles, Alcorcón and Navalcarnero.

There are several housing developments here, known as "El Castillo", "Campodón" and "El Bosque". Villaviciosa de Odón is also the town where the main campus of Universidad Europea de Madrid is located.

LAS ROZAS

The municipality of Las Rozas is one of the largest in Madrid, with an area of between 5,883 and 5,914 hectares.

It is located 18 km northwest of the city of Madrid, between La Coruña Road A-6 (which runs through the town dividing it into two zones) and the road to El Escorial M-505. It has 3 railway stations: Las Rozas, Las Matas and Pinar.

The municipality shares borders with Torrelodones (north); Villanueva del Pardillo and Galapagar (west); Monte de El Pardo (east) and Majadahonda (south).

Las Rozas is another one of Madrid municipalities with the highest income per capita. It has also experienced strong growth in its population, which has risen from about 35,137 in 1991 to 76,246 inhabitants in 2000.
