The most extreme emotions are reserved for the more adventurous type of person. Attractions like Waikiki Jungle in which there are different tunnels crossing into a kind of giant donut. Turbolance offers three attractions in one, with a black hole, a slide with steep sides and a vertiginous boomerang. For the less adventurous, the artificial Malibu Beach is a quiet place to enjoy the waves. This beach is also ideal for the little ones. When you feel hungry, the park has five different places to eat: Self-service, children's diner, snack shops and fast foods.
Closer to the centre of Madrid, less than 21 kilometres away, is Aquapolis. This water park in San Fernando de Henares also has different areas depending on the intensity of the rides that you wish to experience. The excitement mainly focuses on the dramatic Kamikaze, an Anaconda that twists continuously, and the racing slides.
The facilities at this water park are also suitable for families as there is a wave pool, where you can play water sports. You can also opt for water slides in the blue lagoon. And for the little ones, there is a mini park with lots of slides.
To complete the list of water parks, the well-known Warner de San Martín de la Vega theme park is less than 40 kilometres from Madrid. It comes with its own grounds known as: Warner Beach Park. Yes there is a beach here, or the closest thing to a real one. It is called Malibu Beach and consists of natural sand, real waves, and the most spectacular roller coasters. You can enjoy watching all this from your comfortable hammock, positioned close to the lifeguard tower, or the famous Looney Tunes.
Agua Aventura is another attraction, which is an island full of slides, games and water jets as well as Río Loco. This park is almost 400 metres long and is quite different from any other theme park you have ever visited.
