Castiglione del Lago: Location and surroundings of this property
The town of Castiglione del Lago is less than 10 minutes drive from the villa. Situated on a small peninsula into the shore of Lake Trasimeno, the town is listed among Italy’s most charming hilltop towns. Its historic centre has an ancient fortress and palace with breathtaking views over the lake as well as quaint shops, restaurants and a lakeshore beach with water sports and small leisure boat hire facilities. Music and art events as well as “films under the stars” are held in the open air within the fortress’ walls during the summer.
Nearby Montepulciano (16 km) is a favoured destination for families, art and wine lovers. Stunning views from the Palazzo Comunale and the beautiful Duomo are worth a visit. Charming shops, several Enoteca and casual restaurants.
The very quaint village of Panicale (20 Km) has a pretty walled square with good restaurants, stunning views, a tiny theatre and beautiful churches.
The Etruscan town of Cortona is less than 30 minutes away with its renowned restaurants, bars and shops as well as the cultural appeal of the MAEC museum, Teatro Signorelli, S.Margherita Abbey, Etruscan tombs and archeological sites.

Commission Details
The mediation assignment with our agency and/or our real estate agents is formalized with the stipulation of an agreement or with the use of the services listed in our services brochure/in our real estate files and related clauses.
