We are just a stone's throw from Campo San Francesco della Vigna, which takes its name from the historic vineyards that once stood here. Near these vineyards stood a modest church dedicated to St Mark, replaced by the present Franciscan church, begun by Jacopo Sansovino in 1534 and whose grandiose façade was entrusted to Andrea Palladio. This is some of the greatest architecture of the Venetian Renaissance. A few steps from the Campo we cross a large courtyard and arrive at the door of our flat: the entrance opens onto the living area, overlooking the courtyard on one side and an internal courtyard on the other. The kitchen, fully equipped, develops into a cosy sitting area, opposite which we find the bedroom and the complete bathroom with shower. The property, recently renovated and air-conditioned, is vascato and equipped with septic tanks; we consider it a very pretty pied-à-terre in the historic centre, as well as an excellent investment.

Castello: Location and surroundings of this property

The Castello district, the largest and among the oldest in Venice, is located at the eastern end of the city. Always one of the most densely populated districts of the city, it has maintained the traditional 'Venetian way of life' intact. Among the numerous monuments and works of art, we cannot fail to mention the Arsenale, for centuries the cradle of the power of the Serenissima, the Basilica of Saints John and Paul, one of the most beloved by Venetians, of S. Francesco in Vigna, of S. Maria Formosa.
The property is located near the Arsenale and a few steps away from the Celestia vaporetto stop that allows you to reach any point in the city.

Commission Details

The appointment for the sale with our real estate agency and our real estate agents is formalized with a written agreement or, without any document, with the utilization of the services shown in our service brochure, in our real estate expose and relevant conditions.
