Stresa: Location and surroundings of this property

Isola dei Pescatori is the most picturesque of the Borromean Islands and the only one to be permanently inhabited by its 50 residents. There are no motors on the island, and the only way to discover it is on foot, but it will not be strenuous given its small size: 100 meters wide by 350 meters long, it is home to a small village that is characterized by narrow, quiet alleys over which stand the typical multi-story houses with long balconies used for drying fish. On the island there are typical small stores, small workshops of artisans as well as numerous small restaurants where you can enjoy dishes made with the freshest fish, a tradition that endures over time and never ceases to delight the palates of celebrities and others.
