Surla Suite
The extraordinary Surla Suite is constructed and fully furnished as a luxury hotel room for 2 people for on the water. These suites can also be constructed for on land.
Layout and description:
A beautiful, high sliding door of more than 3.5 metres provides access to the spacious lounge with glass on both sides and views over the water. An interior with pellet stove, sofa and coffee table. The compact kitchen with several built-in cupboards and appliances is situated at the bottom of the stairs leading up. The spacious and luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower, bathroom cabinet, w.c. is entirely fitted with Italian concrete-look tiling.
The open loft area has space for a double bed. Additional storage space/ a technical room is built into the side of the ship. The ship is propelled by two engines and a bow thruster. Steering is done from behind the steering column on the large front deck (5m wide and 2.5m long). The entire boat is beautifully finished with oak concrete-look carpentry and luxury lighting and fittings. The boat is fully furnished and sail- and key-ready. This makes this suite a true pleasure yacht for recreation on the water.
Sustainable design:
The Surla Suite is completely sustainable in both construction and use: only sustainable materials were used in its construction and manufactured using the most advanced techniques. The houseboat is 100% ecological and self-sufficient. Through its own treatment plant, the surface water is cleaned and purified, providing drinking, showering and washing water on board without the need for drinking water tanks. Furthermore, the suite is equipped with a combustion toilet.
Usage:
It is possible to recreate on the water without the use of utilities from April to October. Connection to electricity or clean drinking water is not required. If necessary, the suite on the water is heated with a wooden pellet stove. Solar panels on the roof and ample battery packs ensure that the Surla Suite is completely Off-grid.
It is also possible to have the Surla Suite built suitable for onshore.
