Location: Kato Patisia's main road is Acharnon Street instead of Patission Street. It is bordered to the north-northeast by Ano Patisia, to the east by Kypseli, to the south by Agios Nikolaos, to the southwest by Thymarakia and Sepolia, and to the west by the Kifissos River and the location of Treis Gefiras, where the Athens-Lamia National Road passes over the Kifissos.  Unique features: The central church of Agios Dimitrios Oplon (Saint Demetrius of Arms) got its nickname because only here is Saint Demetrius depicted armed. For this reason, the surrounding area was named Opla (Arms) or Sta Opla (At Arms). According to another version, during the War of 1821, a group of fighters who had taken refuge in the church for the night were suddenly awakened by a voice shouting, "To arms!" They got up and managed to repel a Turkish attack. Later, when they asked each other, they found that everyone was asleep when the voice was heard. So they attributed the voice to a miracle of Saint Demetrius.  Accessibility: This is a multicultural neighborhood with a neighborhood feel.
