Königstein is located about 20 km northwest of Frankfurt in the Taunus. Königstein Castle is one of the most impressive castle ruins in Germany. Thanks to its close-to-nature setting, Königstein is among the preferred residential locations in the Rhine-Main region. The spa town has good infrastructure with schools, kindergartens, medical care, a wide range of sports facilities and public transport.
