Olèrdola is a municipality in the Alt Penedès region, made up of the towns of Moja, Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, Can Trabal, Daltmar, Sant Pere de Molanta and Vilallops. Its capital, Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, is 54 kilometres from Barcelona. The municipality is crossed by the Mediterranean motorway (AP-7), the N-340 national road at km 1215, the C-15 regional motorway (Vilafranca del Penedès - Vilanova i la Geltrú) and local roads that provide access to Avinyonet, Olivella and Vilafranca del Penedès. Within the municipality is the Olèrdola Regional Park, which covers an area of 409 hectares and belongs to the network of natural parks of the Diputació de Barcelona.
The territory is mountainous, especially in the southern part, which extends along the western slopes of the Garraf massif, where it reaches 465 metres in the Àliga mountain, on the border between the municipalities of Olèrdola and Canyelles. Also important is Mount Papiol (383 metres), on the border with Avinyonet.
