With a maximum capacity of 700 berths, it is worldly renowned for its elegance and exclusivity: every summer the most majestic and luxurious boats and yachts moor at its quays, to admire simply strolling through its piers and delighting the visitors with their lights enlightening the summer starry nights. The Marina is also home to the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, founded in 1967 by H.H. the Aga Khan, Andrè Ardoin, Giuseppe Kerry Mentasti and Luigi Vietti as a non-profit sports association, intended to bring together members who love the sea and water sports. The YCCS organizes international sailing regattas, including world championships. In addition to a busy sporting calendar, the YCCS also promotes activities relating to the YCCS Sailing School and the One Ocean Foundation, an environmental sustainability project.
