Rock legend Steve Miller sells luxury home in US resort Sun Valley

In the US state of Idaho, Engel & Völkers Sun Valley is currently brokering the holiday home of global star Steve Miller for 16 million US dollars. This estate spans some 5.2 hectares and is set along the banks of the Bigwood River, very close to the Boulder Mountains. It was this setting that inspired the Steve Miller Band song “Wide River”, which was written here. Many rock and pop stars have stayed here as guests and recorded in the property’s studio.

Exclusive grounds amidst breathtaking nature

A luxurious main house lies at the heart of the estate, with two levels and a total of three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a large kitchen. Panoramic views of the river and mountains can be enjoyed from every room. The grounds also encompass three enchanting guest cottages bordering Eagle Creek, which is traversed by several small bridges. The exclusive amenities on offer within the compound include a recording studio with an instrument vault, an archive building with incredible stained-glass windows, and a converted barn that serves as an art studio. Natural trails wind their way across the estate, which are ideal for hiking in the summer and Nordic skiing in winter. Nearby Sun Valley is one of the most desirable winter sports resorts in the whole of North America.
