Lina Backes has been part of the Engel & Völkers team since August 2024 and is training as a real estate agent. Early on, she decided to pursue a career that is diverse, allows for interaction with people, and offers variety. The real estate industry combines these aspects for her.

Her current focus is on rentals. She independently handles tasks related to property management, coordinates documents, supports organizational processes in the shop, and ensures a structured workflow in daily operations. Additionally, she has already gained initial insights into sales and is increasingly involved in residential transactions.

Lina Backes particularly values the emotional aspect of the real estate business. Dealing with different life situations, personal stories, and individual housing wishes motivates her as much as the direct interaction with clients. Empathetic demeanor, openness, and a pleasant conversational atmosphere are particularly important to her when interacting with potential clients.

A personal milestone was the first property sale she assisted with, which brought her closer to the entire process from customer care to successful completion. This experience confirmed her desire to further develop in real estate sales in the long term.

Outside of work, Lina Backes is a family-oriented person. Spending time with family and friends plays a significant role, as does finding balance in her private life. Her daily life is also accompanied by her dog, who holds a special place in her life.
