Location: Traunkirchen, Upper Austria

A front-row seat between sky and lake—a place of silence and grandeur. Few places in the Salzkammergut possess such a powerful yet calming presence as Kalvarienberg in Traunkirchen. Perched on this historically and spiritually significant hill, the villa is surrounded by an aura of absolute inviolability.

Away from the bustle of everyday life yet harmoniously integrated into the heart of the picturesque peninsula, this elevated location offers a refuge of complete privacy and discretion.

At the villa’s feet lie the deep-blue, crystal-clear waters of Lake Traunsee, while on the opposite shore the Traunstein—the “Guardian of the Salzkammergut”—rises majestically into the sky. The daily interplay of light on the waves and rugged rock faces creates a setting unrivalled anywhere in the world for drama and beauty.
