A picturesque mountain village nestled in the hills

The mountain village of Alaró, situated in the heart of Majorca, is one of the most desirable locations on the entire island. Home to some 6,000 residents, it lies peacefully nestled in a scenic valley between the beautiful twin peaks of Puig d’Alaró and Puig d’Alcadena. The capital, Palma, along with the airport and the nearest beaches, is just a 20-minute drive from here. A real favorite with hikers, cyclists, and climbers, Alaró offers very easy access to the stunning Tramuntana mountains. In addition to its breathtaking scenery, the village is rich in history, with charming heritage architecture lining its hilly cobblestone streets. A variety of restaurants invites visitors to enjoy local flavors, while the Saturday market showcases fresh produce from regional traders.

Welcome to the Greenery

A scenic country road, lined with pine, olive and cypress trees on both sides, winds its way to this finca estate. The grand driveway entrance, complete with a fountain, provides for ample parking. Spanning an impressive 26,000 square meters in total, this magnificent property is perfect for hosting elegant receptions or intimate gatherings. Large rustic wooden doors open into the courtyard, where an ancient olive tree stands tall against the stone walls.

Relaxation under the palm trees

A fully equipped summer kitchen allows for cooking with vegetables homegrown on the estate and is conveniently located at the end of the pool. Towering palm trees cast cooling shade along the water’s edge, while a hammock nestled between them offers a peaceful retreat for reading. Several different terraces, each furnished with seating areas, provide additional spaces for relaxation. “We spent most of our time on the middle rear terrace,” shares the current owner, who purchased the house when it was already constructed and did minor renovations inside. “It overlooks the gardens and enjoys a wonderful breeze all year round, which is especially enjoyable in the summer months.”

The main residence spans some 900 square meters in total and is set over two floors, featuring six expansive bedrooms in total, along with a guest apartment that includes an elegant living room and an additional suite. The property also boasts a designer kitchen, as well as a sauna and gym. A separate apartment is available for staff, ensuring both their comfort and privacy. Beyond the main estate, there is a fenced equestrian area with stables for horse lovers. This exceptional home is absolutely ideal for those who appreciate both exclusivity and a deep connection to nature. “The property’s unique balance of privacy and the capacity to host grand gatherings makes it perfect for those who love entertaining or simply wish to embrace a serene, luxurious lifestyle,” says the owner.

Architecture in harmony with nature

Local architect Lorenzo Colom Matas has drawn inspiration from historic country estates for his design, showcasing his meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail through his use of high-quality natural materials. His architectural vision is a seamless blend of traditional Mediterranean elements, contemporary luxury and cutting-edge technology. This enchanting property, surrounded by a dream garden with more than 800 olive, almond, carob, and fruit trees, captivates with a harmonious blend of natural beauty and refined elegance.
