Outdoor Living
Outdoor living dominates the wish list: Over 50 percent of all advisors surveyed worldwide – and nearly 70 percent in Europe – identify access to high-quality outdoor areas as the most sought-after feature. Gardens, terraces, direct beach access, or proximity to the mountains: The lifestyle a property enables is now more important than its interior scale.
Downsizing
An unexpected trend: Downsizing is the second most commonly observed buyer motivation. Discerning buyers increasingly prefer efficiently designed, high-quality living spaces that allow more time for activities and experiences. Thoughtful design and wellness supporting features take precedence over expansive floorplans.
Privacy
In an increasingly uncertain world, privacy and security are gaining in importance. Fifteen percent of all survey responses relate to this aspect – from secluded retreats and intelligent security systems to climate-resilient locations. The desire for protected havens significantly influences international purchasing decisions.
