In detail, these are:

a) Google Analytics

Engel & Völkers uses the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google Inc. ("Google") to analyze the use of the websites. The information generated from cookies about the use of the websites is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Engel & Völkers uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "ga ('set', 'anonymizeIp', true)" to ensure that IP addresses are only processed as a shortened version and to exclude direct reference to individual persons. Google may pass data on to third parties if required by law or if third parties process data on Google's behalf. Google will not disclose the IP address of users in connection with other Google data. Users can prevent the recording and storage of data by Google Analytics at any time by installing a browser plug-in released by Google, which can be downloaded from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can view the data protection regulations here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/processorterms/

The crash report is only sent to HockeyApp after separate consent has been given. Some of the information contained in the crash report may be processed in the USA. HockeyApp is a service provided by Microsoft. Legal information can be found here:

c) Crashlytics

Crashlytics is an analysis tool offered and operated by Crashlytics Inc., based in Cambridge MA, USA. Crashlytics generates so-called crash reports, i.e. reports on malfunctions or failures of the app, where and in what context they occurred, how many users of the app are affected, etc. Engel 6 Völkers uses these reports to learn about malfunctions or failures, to react more quickly, more specifically and more efficiently in the interests of the users and to be able to technically improve the app accordingly. To do this, Crashlytics records data on the "crash" and general data on the respective IT environment (in particular on the device used, the mobile phone provider and the operating system) together with the user's Symphony-related app ID, which can be deleted at any time. If this contains personal or pseudonymous data, Crashlytics deletes this after seven days at the latest. The information provides Crashlytics and subsequently Engel & Völkers with information about whether and how the app works and is used, including in particular the malfunctions and failures that occur. Further information is available at try.crashlytics.com/terms/privacy-policy.pdf.

Use of Facebook

Engel & Völkers uses the technical platform and services of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland to use the Engel & Völkers Facebook page.

At this point, Engel & Völkers would like to emphasize once again that you use this Facebook page and its functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating).

When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook records, among other things, your IP address and other information that is available on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook page, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this at the following link: http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights.

The data collected about you in this context is processed by Facebook Ltd. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. Facebook describes in general terms what information Facebook receives and how it is used in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information about how to contact Facebook and the options for setting up advertisements. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link:

http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy

You can find Facebook's complete data guidelines here:

https://de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy

How Facebook uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by Facebook and is not known to us.

When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymized (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about its users' devices (e.g. as part of the "login notification" function); this may enable Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, there is a cookie with your Facebook ID on your device. This enables Facebook to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This deletes Facebook information that can be used to identify you directly. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook ID. When you access interactive functions on the page (like, comment, share, messages, etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. After logging in, you will be recognizable to Facebook as a specific user.

Information on how you can manage or delete information about you can be found on the following Facebook support page:

https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy
