You have the right to obtain information about the processing of your personal data (for example, the origin of the data, the purpose of processing, and the methods of processing). Furthermore, under certain conditions, you are entitled to object to future processing, request restriction of processing, or request deletion of your data.

I. Collection and Processing of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website, Apps, or Social Media Channels
We generally process personal data only insofar as you provide such data to us via the contact forms available on our company websites, apps, and/or social media channels. Personal data is processed only if you have given us your consent or if processing is permitted by law.
For certain services offered on our websites, apps, and/or social media channels, we require a minimum amount of data. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). Without this mandatory information, we cannot provide the corresponding services.

2. Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis
We process your data for the following purposes:

Conducting market value assessments of properties
Contacting you by telephone
Sending email newsletters about our own offers and advertising
Where applicable, we may use AI-supported systems to assist in the creation or revision of content (e.g. text drafts or visualizations). Any processing of personal data is carried out solely for the intended purpose and under human supervision. Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.

4. Transfer of Data to Countries Outside the EEA
Recipients of personal data may be located outside the EEA/UK. Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place, such as:

III. Referral to Another Engel & Völkers License Partner
If we jointly search for a property with another license partner, your data will only be transferred based on your prior consent.
Both we and the other license partner process your personal data independently and are individually responsible for such processing.
IV. Newsletter Management in the Engel & Völkers User Account

V. Communication via WhatsApp
We offer communication via WhatsApp and a WhatsApp newsletter.
Communication is managed through the messaging platform “Superchat” operated by SuperX GmbH, Berlin.

Application documents may be transferred within the Engel & Völkers group where necessary.
VII. Storage and Deletion of Data
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes and legal retention obligations.
Application data is generally deleted after six months if no employment relationship is established, unless consent for longer storage has been given.
WhatsApp communication data is deleted once it is no longer required for the respective purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Newsletter data is deleted immediately upon withdrawal of consent.
