Over the last few decades, the name Engel & Völkers has established itself firmly amongst the global leaders for real estate. What started in Germany in 1977 with a small office in Hamburg, is now an internationally successful and continuously growing licence system. We are now represented at more than 700 locations in 30 countries on four continents. In addition to the well established shop system created in the nineties, we launched our Market Center concept in 2013. Mainly based in large cities and metropolitan regions, up to 200 estate agents are responsible for entire regions within the framework of real estate brokerage in centrally located, modern offices. We now have 13 Market Centers in Barcelona, New York, Bogotá, Vienna, Malta, Madrid, Valencia, Dubai, Rome, Paris, Hong Kong, Côted’Azur and Hamburg.
Our international growth – unprecedented and unabated
Since the founding of the company in 1977, Engel & Völkers has been nothing but successful and is now recording record sales growth. In the last few years, our entire group of companies has achieved an average growth in estate agent commissions of around 35 percent compared to the previous year –and for the first time more than half a billion euros in 2016: a record result that once again reflects the success of our worldwide expansion. This successis not least down to our unique system platform with our in-house Academy, which ensures the qualification and business success of our more than 9,000 employees around the world.

Our marketing service – exclusive and individual
Our all-round service begins with an individual consultation, for example, in one of our approximately 700 property shops. On the basis of a professional market value assessment as well as a detailed target group and market analysis, we determine the best possible
sales price for each property. To highlight each property's uniqueness in the market, our experienced experts develop a custom marketing concept. The fact that every property is shown in the best possible light is, naturally, a matter of course for us – and so is personal advice and support during viewings as well as regular reporting on the marketing status.
Even if you do not wish to publicly market your property, Engel & Völkers can still help. Our Private Office service offers very affluent property owners a premium service in form of very discreet, personal support and consulting in the top segment of the global real estate market.
Our tools and services – top-class and far-reaching
To ensure marketing success, our customers profit from our unrivalled range of marketing tools and services. These include a range of property description versions, mailshots and print advertisements in daily newspapers and magazines, e.g. in our lifestyle magazine GG, which is publishedin six languages and boasts a circulation of more than 500,000 copies. On request, we also produce individual property videos or a choice coffee table book to present exceptionally prestigious properties in a unique way. Today, the highest number of potential interested buyers is reached digitally within avery short period of time – for example, by showcasing the property on real estate portals, on the Engel & Völkers website, in our newsletter and on the most important social media channels.
