With this luxury floating houseboat, you can wake up in a different place every day. There's also the option to purchase it as an investment and/or place it under management.
There is surprisingly ample space and comfort on the houseboat. Thanks to its clever layout, spacious structure, large sliding doors, and expansive outdoor areas, including a rooftop terrace These houseboats are designed with a passion for outdoor living and make extensive use of natural materials. As a result, the design, with its abundant use of wood, blends beautifully with nature. Furthermore, the houseboat is entirely sustainably built and is fully self-sufficient in use. Layout and Description:
Surla is 15 meters long and 6 meters wide, with 3 bedrooms, comfortably accommodating 4 to 6 people. The foundation is made of galvanized steel, equipped with catamaran floats and a basement compartment for storage. The houseboat has a living area of over 51 square meters and features a spacious roof terrace of 24 square meters. From the living room with an open kitchen,with a stunning view over the water through large sliding doors. The living room includes a Sonos music system. Surrounding the houseboat is a gangway which is approx. 50 cm wide. At the front, there's a 14-square-meter terrace, and at the back, there's an outdoor shower and a staircase to the roof terrace. The open kitchen is fully equipped and is part of the livingroom with beautiful unobstructed views. There are three bedrooms, two of which have Van der Valk Design/Surla beds, and the third bedroom features a custom-made bunk bed. The modern bathroom has a shower, sink, and a dry toilet.
Sustainable Design:
The houseboat is entirely sustainable in both its construction and use: Only sustainable materials were used in its construction, employing the most advanced techniques. The houseboat is 100% ecologically* and self-sufficient. It's possible to enjoy life on the water from April to October without the reliance on utilities like electricity or access to clean drinking water. The houseboat is heated with a pellet stove (optional) and underfloor heating (optional). Twelve solar panels on the roof and spacious lithium battery packs ensure that the houseboat is entirely self-sufficient.
Rental Options:
The option for rental is available through Surla Rental or, if preferred, independently. The Copes Club is fully furnished and is already part of Surla's Rental Organization.

*Ecological: accomplished with an IBA system with three compartments, the first for grease and soap residue separation, the 2nd tank is aerated with 600L of air per hour, and bacteria provide the cleaning. The 3rd tank filters out all residues and discharges the water clean to the surface water. This process is organic and requires limited maintenance. One condition is that a dry toilet is used **, since the system cannot handle feces.
**Dry toilet = In the toilet, urine and feces are separated; urine goes into the IBA and the feces goes into a bio-tank. That container dries the feces and extracts moisture and air. As a result, it does not smell. The bio-tank can be emptied into the green compost bin at home once every three weeks.

Use and Accessibility:
You can dock the houseboat in a harbor or at the quay. Additionally, the houseboat can be anchored in nearly any location on the water using a system of spud poles (wooden anchor poles that secure into the bottom). This truly embodies the essence of freedom!
