Vall de March Approximately 5 kilometres west of the town of Pollensa, within the Serra de Tramuntana itself, leaving behind the secondary road C-710 that connects Pollensa with the municipality of Escorca, a small path leads into a dense Mediterranean forest. This path is flanked by the imposing slopes of the island’s second-highest peak, Puig Tomir, rising to 1,102 metres above sea level. Here lies one of the most beautiful and historically rich valleys of rural Mallorca: the Vall de’n March. Within this fertile valley, some of Pollensa’s most emblematic possessions were built—many of which have endured to this day, preserving their purest character—such as Cal Herevet, Fertaritx and Can Melcion.
