The medieval village of Bevagna is located along the Topino river, a strategic position that has been important since Roman times. From the suggestive Piazza Silvestri, one can explore the labyrinth of alleys in the historic centre. Every June, Bevagna hosts the Mercato delle Gaite, one of the most renowned medieval events in Umbria, where one can taste typical products and admire handicrafts.
