The entire neighborhood has been recently redeveloped, with new paving, tree planting, wider sidewalks, and a new cycle path. The location is also highly strategic: it connects the historic city center with the new Scalo Romana district, one of Milan’s most innovative and green urban projects. This sophisticated, eco-friendly, and contemporary area will feature residential buildings, commercial spaces, shops, services, and the new Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Village, which will later be converted into student housing. In the opposite direction, just a short walk away, are Corso di Porta Romana, Viale Bligny, and Viale Montenero — lively streets filled with local shops, cultural venues, popular restaurants and cafés, as well as essential services such as sports centers, schools, and universities.
