Apartment in Port Vell

The home is located a few meters from one of Barcelona’s most representative churches, the Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy (La Mercè). This church gives its name to the neighborhood corresponding to the southern area of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. The apartment is two minutes from the Columbus Passage and Via Laietana (El Born). Less than a ten-minute walk away is La Rambla and, in about fifteen minutes, the city’s beaches. The Gothic Quarter is one of the most emblematic and charismatic districts of the Catalan capital, with a large number of museums, shops, and restaurants from which to enjoy the neighborhood’s vibrant life. The neighborhood’s many facets allow us to enjoy a wide range of attractions, such as religious buildings like Barcelona Cathedral or the Church of Santa Maria del Pi; shopping areas such as Portal de l’Àngel or Portaferrissa; cultural landmarks such as the Ateneu Barcelonès; and historic sites such as the Roman Temple of Augustus, the former Great Synagogue, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, or Plaça de Sant Jaume.
