Brand-new 3-bed duplex a few meters from Avenida da Liberdade

The Parish of Santo António results from the merger of three Lisbon parishes: S. José, Coração de Jesus and São Mamede. Bearing a name in honor of Lisbon’s patron saint, the parish aims to preserve the past and create new stories in the capital; to integrate all people and businesses into community life; to enhance and preserve emblematic places; to be an example of innovation; and to attract young people and entrepreneurs to this area in the very heart of Lisbon. The Barata Salgueiro Neighborhood, the Camões Neighborhood (inaugurated in 1880 on the tricentennial of the death of the poet Luís de Camões), the Diário de Notícias building, the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the “Franjinhas” Building reveal the urban dynamism of this area. The parish includes the renowned Avenida da Liberdade, inaugurated at the end of the 19th century; the “Passeio Público” was created in the style of the great European boulevards of the time. A prime area of the city where, on both its left and right, we find grand manor houses representing the area’s wealth and excellence. Until the late 20th century this area favored the establishment of large service companies, but since the early 2000s there has been increasing presence of major international brands and real-estate rehabilitation geared toward the luxury residential market.
