Christian Kretzmann

Christian Kretzmann is the managing partner of the Engel & Völkers offices in Bochum and Hattingen. Together with his wife and co-director Clara Kretzmann, Christian Kretzmann oversees the strategic development and commercial management of the company.

While Clara Kretzmann handles operational management and private client services, Christian Kretzmann focuses on strategy, finance, and consulting for commercial clients such as builders, project developers, and investors.

As an economist and lawyer, Christian Kretzmann possesses extensive knowledge in finance, taxes, and law. After studying business administration in Cologne and Boston, Christian Kretzmann earned his doctorate at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He then pursued legal studies in Münster, specializing in real estate tax law.

Christian Kretzmann's passion for residential and investment properties emerged early through personal building projects. With the acquisition of the E&V locations in 2022, Christian Kretzmann professionalized this path. Today, clients benefit from his broad expertise, economic insight, and ability to develop tailored solutions throughout the entire transaction process.

Christian Kretzmann's strong connection to the Ruhr region shapes his work. For him, consistency, trust, and entrepreneurial foresight are the foundation of long-term partnerships. With his own research team regularly producing market reports for Bochum, and through the daily commitment of the entire team, Christian Kretzmann actively contributes to the region's visibility.
