KfW funding: Funding is becoming scarce

Anyone currently planning to purchase an EH55 property should review the funding options promptly.

Originally, €800 million was allocated for EH55 funding through KfW programmes 297/298.

As of 30 September 2026, only around €69 million remained available. Based on the current situation, no increase in the temporary funding is planned.

Our recommendation: If you wish to use EH55 funding for your financing, you should now have it checked whether your project is eligible and whether the funding application can be submitted at short notice.

Important: Funding is subject to the availability of federal funds. There is no legal entitlement; the decisive factor is KfW’s funding approval.
