KfW funding: Funds are becoming scarce

Anyone currently planning to purchase an EH55 property should promptly review the available funding options.

A total of EUR 800 million was originally provided for EH55 funding through KfW programmes 297/298.

As of 30 September 2026, only around EUR 69 million remained available. Based on the current situation, no increase in the temporary funding is planned.

Our advice: If you wish to use EH55 funding for your financing, you should now have it checked whether your project is eligible and whether the funding application can be submitted at short notice.

Important: Funding is subject to the availability of federal funds. There is no legal entitlement; the decisive factor is KfW’s funding approval.
