Hardly anyone remembers the "Bächen" monastery, once a women's monastery of the Order of the Black Franciscans. In the protected valley basin of Bächen, there was a Franciscan convent for women since 1412. It was dissolved like other monasteries during secularization. After a fire in 1890, only the chapel house, which is a listed building, and the stable remained. The wine cellar and the front door also date back to the monastery period. The idyllic property, situated by a tranquil stream with approximately 111,493 m² of land, includes farmland, forest, grassland, and two small ponds in addition to the courtyard area. It invites you to live in the countryside within historic walls, yet with easily accessible infrastructure. It is also a dream for horse lovers and individualists.
