Historic farmhouse with holiday residence

Waidring is a typical Tyrolean village. All shops for everyday needs, as well as restaurants, are available locally. The “Steinplatte” ski area not only provides access to the Winklmoosalm, the home of Rosi Mittermaier; it also connects Austria and Germany and, with more than 35 km of groomed pistes, is well known far beyond Austria’s borders. Naturally, cross-country ski trails and hiking paths are also available, as are via ferratas and the opportunity to go rafting on the Tyrolean Ache.

The district’s largest municipality, St. Johann in Tirol, is approximately 15 minutes away by car. The “Wilder Kaiser” and Kitzbühel ski areas can be reached by car in about 25 minutes. Several golf courses are located nearby. Salzburg can be reached by car in only about 40 minutes, allowing you to reach an international airport in less than an hour. An evening excursion to the city of festivals is also easily possible.
